About the Golden Nugget
The Golden Nugget was a former ball mill operated in the 1950's and 60's to crush gold, silver, copper, and zinc mined in the area. All the equipment to operate the mill is still in place and if hooked up to a generator, probably still runs! We re-opened the foreclosed property in Sept. 2004.
